Right…have a look and play smart. I’d say the top draws might be played as unders as well. I do expect a couple of surprises as always but hopefully we’ll be lucky enough not to pick them.

I haven’t decide which of these matches will play yet, I think I’ll go for a double chance combo (as usual) as my main ticket and then try to combine a few of them on other tickets…

Champions League Qualifiers

A new football season is just about to begin all over Europe. It has been quite a while since the Euro 2008 ended, when I’ve posted the last thing on this blog. Well I guess it’s just about time to start posting again, business as usual :), useful football tips and predictions, free as always.

There will probably be a few tipsting contests - we had a lot of fun during the Euro and 3 excellent tipsters won our cash prizes so better subscribe to this blog to receive the latest predictions or make sure you’ll visit us quite a bit. The biggest surprise I have for you all is that during this football break I have developed an unique, fantastic concept that will allow you to win up to £ 1 Million within max. 20 weeks!! Yes you read that right - it’s up to £1,000,000,000 !! I know it sounds too good to be true, believe me it’s not something silly, a lie or a cheap ebook I will try to sell - I hate those too! It is actually an unique idea I came up with and I think it will work for many experienced tipsters around or people enjoying football predictions! At this moment we applied for a patent and we are working with a couple of web programmers to develop the system and it should be ready to launch within a month or two! There are a few pretty safe bets as I’ve said… Fiorentina (1), Spartak (1), Aalborg (1), Arsenal (x2), Juventus (1), Liverpool (x2), Barcelona (1). These seems to be the best tips so far, obviously you won’t get big money on these at any betting website but still can make a bit of profit. Those who read this blog for a while probably know why I bet some matches at double chance and how good this system works for me. I’ll post within the next days an explanation with the double chance system I use for those that are new to this blog.

Expect another post with the UEFA qualifiers sometime tomorrow and as we used to do during the Euro I’ll end the post with a poll…I’ll choose Schalke vs. Atletico this time…let’s see

Euro Tipsterbet Contest Winners !

Because all the goods things come to an end, Euro 2008 ended today and our little Euro Tipsterbet Contest ended as well so it’s time to congratulate our winners!

Spain Euro 2008 Champions!

Euro 2008 is history now. A crazy month full with high quality football matches, fantastic goals, tears and smiles. This was the Euro Tournament. From now on we should look forward to the WC qualifying campaigns.

I would like to congratulate Spain for the fantastic football they played and the spanish supporters for their superb attachement towards a team that finally proved themselves as one of the best in Europe.

What a nice final we had ! 

Euro 2008 Germany vs Spain Predictions

If Germany was favourite for bookies to win the Euro 2008, just before the tournaments started, we can’t say the same thing for Spain. Strong teams like Italy, France, Croatia, Portugal, Netherlands which had their chances, are at home already and they will watch the final from TV.

Spain always had a pretty good team but for some reason they failed to reach the final stages of such tournaments in the last quite a few years. They now have a very strong team, players from the top club teams in Europe and a very productive attacking mentality.

On the other hand Germany is a strong team, they always been some sort of favourites at any tournament they participate. Players like Ballack, Podolski or Klose can always make they difference on the pitch.

I expect a beautiful match, close enough as I believe none of the teams will assume strong attacking responsabilities at the begining. It is a difficult match to bet on, probably the best option would be to bet on handicap or “under”/”over” - goals scored. I would like to think the match will be decided in extra time or perhaps at penalties but you’ll never know what to expect from a final!

Euro 2008 Russia vs Spain Predictions

Russia is probably one of the most pleasant surprises at Euro 2008. The youngest squad from the whole tournament played some excellent football and at the same time very entertaining.  Spain is one of the strongest teams in Europe at the moment with a few brilliant players.

I believe that Spain has the first chance due to the fact that most of their players are very experienced, play at top teams in Europe and they can face the pressure of such a tournament. The russians are young and the lack of experience at this level might be decisive.

Euro 2008 Germany vs Turkey Predictions

Germany and Turkey will meet in the first Euro 2008 semifinal. I always said the germans win even when they play crap but when they get a good match I can’t see any team able to beat them. Turkey is one of the Euro surprises so far, they did very well and I’m sure many people wouldn’t expect them to play in the SF’s. I really enjoyed watching their football.

Unfortunately for Turkey they have quite a lot of injured players and that would make their life even harder against the germans. I expect a good game from both teams but honestly I don’t think Turkey will manage to win due to their lack of experience at this level and also due to their players shortage.

Euro 2008 Spain vs Italy Predictions

The World Champions, Italy will meet Spain in the last quarterfinal. Spain played some excellent football this tournament while Italy had some rather modest evolutions. However the italians are still a force in football and they might have the skills to beat the spanish team.

I expect a top match from two top teams for a place in the semifinals against the latest surprise, Russia.

Euro 2008 Netherlands vs Russia Predictions

Well, well, well…lots of surprises so far in the QS’s! I guess the bookies made a fortune from this Euro. Netherlands and Russia will play in the third quarterfinal. Another surprise? I wouldn’t be surprised

Netherlands is probably the best Euro team so far with so many quality players. On the other hand, Russia with a dutch coach, is the youngest squad at Euro. I never thought these young players will be able to go so far in the competition and theit lack of experience at this level might be a serious minus against the top dutch players.

Euro 2008 Croatia vs Turkey Predictions

The second quarterfinal is a match between two teams well known for their fighting spirit - Croatia and Turkey. The croats are slightly favourites but let’s not forget the impressive turkish qualification.

Unfortunatelly for Turkey, they won’t be able to fill the pitch with their best team as quite a few of their key players are suspended for two yellows. Croatia had the chance to rest some of their best players in the last match so I expect them to be pretty much fresh comparing with their opponents.
