Euro 2008 Group D Predictions

Group D

1. Greece

2. Sweden

3. Spain

4. Russia

This group seems to be interesting to watch as all four teams have equal chances. Spain is probably favourite to qualify for quarterfinals with Greece, Sweden and Russia fighting for the second place.

The spanish team is top quality and they always had quality players but for a strange reason they didn’t managed to play finals. This Euro might be their chance as most of their top players reached a level of maturity which will obviously help their game. Greece is still a strong side and it will be a mistake to write them off while Sweden and Russia are not bad teams either. Russia have the youngest squad in the competition so that might be a minus for them due to the lack of experience of their players at this level.

Our tip is to bet on Spain and Greece to qualify for QF’s.

Note: Individual match predictions will be made about one day before each match. This is just a brief review of each group and team’s chances to qualify for quarterfinals!

Thank you
