Betting for Fun or for Money?

Believe me or not, there are people that would bet just for fun. These are usually mid-aged men, with a good financial situation, that won’t bother to loose a certain amount of money each week. If they win, well that was funny! If they won’t win…at least they’ve had some fun and adrenaline!  These people would bet from instinct most of the times, without having a serious plan, without making a proper analysis before matches.

The second category is people that would bet for fun but at the same time want to earn some cash from this. These people would read all the news about a team or another, about a player or other, they would know most of the betting strategies and techniques, but because they dream to get rich overnight, they won’t manage to make serious money from betting. These guys would go for small bets, usually £5, £10 or £20 and lots of matches on betslip, dreaming to win £10k or £100k  but because they have 10, 15, 20 matches on a betslip they would never get the chance to win something serious. There are the best customers for betting sites, aren’t they?

The third category are the professional guys. They have a great experience, they know what to play, how to play and when to play. Are they making money from betting? Well…they actually make a living from betting , a good living. When you are into this game you got the chance to know many people…believe me or not, I know people that make £1000 – £5000 each week, week by week. How they manage to get so much? First of all, they play smart, trying to eliminate as much chance and risk as possible. They usually bet big amounts of money on just a couple of matches…they analyse, they know everything, they don’t make any childish mistakes. Of course they loose from time to time but when you made let’s say £8000 in profit and you loose £2000, it’s not that bad, is it?
